MEXICO SUPREME QUALITY(MSQ) GROWERS

The Mexico Supreme Quality  (Mexico Calidad Suprema,  www.mexicocalidadsuprema.com.mx ) or MSQ program is a public/private partnership  founded in the early 2000s.  Its mission is to train and certify Mexico agricultural producers in food safety and sanitation protocols.

Producers who successfully complete the rigorous educational and monitoring program are awarded the Seal of Excellence (at left) that can be used on all their products and packaging.  This Seal — much like the well-recognized Good Housekeeping Seal — immediately identifies a superior product to receivers and consumers.

Already a well-established program throughout Mexico, the program launched its international outreach just a few years ago.  Today, the MSQ program, which is based on GlobalGAP protocols, is accepted by major retailers in Europe, Asia and North America.
